About Us

Flourish Foundation Project Inc., also known as the DDAAT-App! National Suicide Prevention & School Safety Collaborative, is a nonprofit alliance of passionate individuals, organizations, and businesses dedicated to creating safer, stronger, and more caring communities. Our organization unites a diverse network of parents, small business owners, corporate professionals, and community leaders with one shared goal: addressing socioeconomic issues impacting our youth and communities, with a particular focus on mental health and suicide prevention.

Based in Charlotte, NC, we work collaboratively with local and national partners to create community-focused, research-based programs that tackle pressing issues such as suicide, youth mental health, school safety, and social-emotional learning (SEL). Our work is inspired by the urgent need to address the highest suicide rates among young people in our region, and we are driven to bring real, lasting change.

Our Programs

Our flagship program, the DDAAT-App! Community-Wide Intervention Project serves as a central hub for youth mental health resources, suicide prevention strategies, and wellness education. Through this innovative platform, we offer access to counseling, career exploration, educational support, and wrap-around services to help youth build resilience and achieve success.

We also partner with educational institutions, music and tech organizations, and health agencies to create engaging, transformative programs like STEMM+ (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, Music, and Mental Health). This initiative blends STEM education with mental health strategies, helping youth develop critical thinking skills, social-emotional competencies, and career readiness while addressing the growing need for global competitiveness and mental resilience.
