We focus on empowering youth and young adults through innovative, data-driven solutions to address critical issues like mental health, suicide prevention, juvenile delinquency, and crime. Our Story

The Flourish Foundation Project was born out of the determination of a mom on a mission. After her son was brutally bullied by gang members, culminating in a suicide attempt, she stood behind the ambulance as EMS workers fought to revive him. In that moment of anguish, a fire ignited within her—a passion to unite communities, save our youth, and transform schools into safe, caring spaces where every child can thrive.

No child should have to suffer the pain of bullying, fear, or hopelessness, and no parent should have to endure the heartache of watching their child in crisis. What began as one mother’s mission has grown into a nationally recognized movement, driven by a commitment to protect and uplift the next generation. Today, the Flourish Foundation Project is a beacon of hope for families, working tirelessly to ensure that no child or parent has to face these struggles alone.

The Flourish Foundation Project is a federally recognized nonprofit organization dedicated to creating safe, caring, and globally competitive communities. With a network of over 138 local and national organizations—including 33 colleges and universities and 2 research institutions—we bring neighbors, businesses, and educational institutions together to tackle shared challenges that impact us all.

We understand that meeting youth where they are—through music, gaming, and digital platforms—is a vital part of effectively engaging and supporting them. Research shows that future-focused career pathways can reduce suicide ideation by up to 50 percent. Guided by this knowledge, the Flourish Foundation Project leverages proprietary platforms and curriculum to improve access to and the effectiveness of community behavioral health services, empowering young people to build resilient, successful futures.

Our proprietary model launched the nation’s first community-wide suicide prevention initiative that integrates music, technology, and mental health resources. This groundbreaking approach not only addresses youth and young adult mental health crises but also equips them with the skills needed to thrive in a rapidly changing workforce shaped by technological and AI advancements. By preparing the next generation for these challenges, we help communities attract business investment and educational opportunities, fostering growth and prosperity for all.

• Music & Mental Resilience Afterschool Program & Workshops: Empowering youth through music-based mental wellness education and skill-building.

• Peer Support Channel (Coming in 2025): A safe space for peer-to-peer connection and support.

• School Active Shooter Prevention & Preparedness Workshops: Providing training and resources to schools for safer learning environments.

• STEMM+ Academy: Introducing youth to STEM, multimedia, and mental wellness fields of study through engaging, collaborative college and community projects.

• Game Development & Competition Events: Collaborations with esports gaming leagues, gaming organizations, and game developers move youth beyond just playing games into creating them. These events equip youth with mental wellness safeguards, skills for fun and functionality, and tools for future-focused career opportunities.

• Mentoring and Mental Health Counseling: Donations help provide critical mentoring and mental health counseling services, giving youth the guidance and support they need to thrive emotionally and mentally.
